Abstract
I will present how epicardial cells influence the development and function of the heart and how their action is regulated in time and in morphogenesis. I will discuss diverse conditions of stemness and differentiation, using both in stem cells and developmental biology approaches. I will also discuss of a discovery of a novel receptor acts as a molecular switch between cardiac adaptation and heart failure.
